Neither frustrated me too much, and nor did I annoy them as far as I know! I've just spent a few hours playing with both my 15 year old and my 4 year old. Because the game is so familiar and intuitive it's really easy to pick up. One of you plays as Ben and his alter-egos, and the other is Rook with his variety of weapons. One of the nicest features about this game is the 2 player co-op.
Rather than the original 10 aliens, you can in fact play as any of 13, plus Ben, and of course Rook. Whenever you die you only have a 3 second respawn, and that lack of punishment makes this game really easy to play without frustration.Īs this is Ben 10 you get to transform into Ben's alter-ego's (instantly and at will most of the time), and take advantage of their special powers and abilities. During play you basically stroll from area to area, defeating the enemies and then moving on a few yards and doing it again, every now and again you get a more tricky enemy, equivalent to a level boss.
